All holders of Machine Readable Passports (MRPS) should note that the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control has been phasing out the MRPs since December 2018.

 

All holders of MRPs should take note and ensure to have any remaining MRPs replaced with East African e-passports before 4th April 2022, which is the deadline for the phase out period.
