Ambassador Margaret . M. Otteskov attended the launch of a Fund to tackle Food Insecurity in East Africa at UN City in Copenhagen

On the 8th April, 2025, Ambassador Margaret . M. Otteskov attended the launch of a $40 million partnership in Copenhagen at UN City aimed at scaling up climate-smart, homegrown school feeding in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. 

The partnership involves key players:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
- Novo Nordisk Foundation
- Grundfos Foundation
- UN World Food Programme

The initiative seeks to tackle food insecurity and transform food systems through public-private collaboration, focusing on climate-smart agriculture and home-grown school feeding programs.
