Amb. Margaret Ottescov Hosts officials from the Directorate of Citizenship & Immigration Control

On 12th October 2024 the Embassy hosted a team of officials from the Directorate of Citizenship & Immigration Control (DCIC) who were on an inspection and maintenance Mission of the Passport and Visa Centre that was established at the Embassy in November 2022. The team was led by the Assistant commissioner for Immigration Mr. Moses Murari.

The purpose of the visit was to monitor and as well improve the Passport and Visa Centre, its efficiency to serve the Ugandan Diaspora in the Nordic countries with Passport renewals and lost cases, Diaspora registration, E.visa system among others.
